The International Olympic Stadium ( Arabic الملعب الأولمبي الدولي, DMG al - ʿ times from al - ūlimbī ad duwalī ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tripoli, Lebanon. It is located right on the Mediterranean and is mainly used for football. It is fully equipped with seats and has a track and field facility. The venue is the home of the Lebanese rugby union team.
It was one of three venues of the 12th Asian Cup 2000. With 22,400 seats ( 13,200 covered) it was the smallest of the three stadium venues. Among other things, there is a VIP area with 675 seats, a press box, 6 changing rooms for players and two referees and a car park with 600 parking spaces.
