International Rugby Hall of Fame
The International Rugby Hall of Fame is a Hall of Fame, which honors the most outstanding player in the sport of Rugby Union. It was founded in 1997 by rugby amateurs from New Zealand, and since then every two years, new players are added. Can also be included personalities who have made a significant contribution to the development of rugby.
The International Rugby Hall of Fame Trust is a New Zealand non-profit organization. Whose board is made up of ten to twenty -appointed members representing the major rugby nations. Every two years, selects an existing game from analysts and commentators Examiners. These create a list of 25 potential candidates. Any candidate who receives at least six votes of the Board members is inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The International Rugby Hall of Fame is not to be confused with the IRB Hall of Fame.
