International Sociological Association
The International Sociological Association (ISA ) is a company whose mission is to pursue scientific purposes in sociology and the social sciences field. It was founded in 1949 at the initiative of UNESCO and its members come from 109 countries currently.

The ISA organizes every four years a sociological World Congress, the next one will be July 13 to 19 2014, the motto of Facing Unequal World: Challenges for a Global Sociology in Yokohama instead.
