International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology ( IUBMB, and 1991 International Union of Biochemistry, IUB), to German " International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology ", is an international non -governmental organization that deals with biochemistry and molecular biology.

The organization created recommendations for the classification and naming of objects from the areas mentioned. The IUBMB similar in their aims and methods of the IUPAC ( International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry). Both organizations and their nomenclature committees work closely together and are often mentioned in the same lettering as the IUPAC - IUBMB.
