The International University in Geneva (English International University in Geneva ) or short IUG is a private university that was founded in 1997 and is in the ICC, International Center Cointrin Geneva, Switzerland, home. The educational institution is not recognized in Switzerland as a university.

The IUA is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs ( ACBSP ), which is recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation ( CHEA ) and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education ( IACBE ).

Founder and President of IUA is Eric Willumsen, Chancellor Claude Martin, Academic Dean Winfried Boeing. There are currently enrolled at the IUG about 270 students.

Establishment and purpose

The IUA was founded in 1997 with the aim of ensuring a multicultural and international education. IUG is registered as a non-profit foundation under Swiss law. The first chancellor of the university was David Williamson (former head of DuPont ). Ranking

2008 IUA had the run of the controversial private French consulting and rating agency EDUNIVERSAL ranking recognition to be among the top 1000 " Business Schools " in the world, in June 2012, the IUA was listed as the sixth best business school in Switzerland ( seven listed ).
