International Year of Chemistry

The International Year of Chemistry 2011 (English International Year of Chemistry 2011) was proclaimed at the 63rd UN General Assembly in December 2008. It was under the theme " Chemistry- our life, our future".

Throughout the year, various events took place around the globe. The final event was held in Brussels on 1 December 2011.
