International Youth Library

The International Youth Library in Munich ( IJB ) is a special library with the task to collect children 's literature from around the world, to open up and to teach children and adults to promote the idea of ​​intercultural understanding. The Library of Munich was founded in 1949 by the writer and journalist Jella Lepman.
