Internationales Figurentheaterfestival

The International Puppet Theatre Festival is founded in 1979 in Erlangen theater festival.

The two annually by the cities of Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen and Schwabach jointly oriented event is regarded as the most important festival for cross-genre figures, images and object theater in German-speaking and as a central theater festival in Germany.

About 50 theater groups from around the world present in approximately 100 performances for ten days their current productions in more than 20 different venues in cities metropolitan area. As a framework program there are exhibitions and performances as well as workshops, public lectures, workshops, staging conversations.
