Interroll Holding AG, based in Sant'Antonino in the canton of Ticino ( Switzerland ) is a leading global manufacturer of key products for unit load handling, internal logistics and automation. History

Interroll was founded in 1959 by Dieter Specht and Hans vom Stein in German Wermelskirchen. Between 1968 and 1973 concluded Interroll joint ventures in France, the United States, Denmark, the Benelux countries and Spain. The company subsequently developed a set of belt conveyors mini belt drive, ball rolling and in collaboration with the Italian Rulmeca heavy conveyor rollers for bulk applications.

1986, the company concentrated its entire injection molding production at the newly created site in S. Antonio at Switzerland and moved three years later also the corporate headquarters there. 1997, the company went public.

In 2000, company founder Dieter Specht gave the Executive Committee to the new CEO Paul Zumbühl. This taught in the sequence, the group new strategic approach, not sold -core business activities.
