Interstate 205 (Oregon–Washington)

Interstate 205 (abbreviated I-205 ) is an Interstate Highway in the United States. The I-205 begins in Tualatin, Oregon and ends after 60 kilometers in Salmon Creek, Washington. It is used as a bypass route of Interstate 5 in the metropolitan area of Portland.

Course

From Tualatin Interstate runs in an easterly direction and crosses in West Linn on the Abernethy Bridge to the Willamette River. In the south of Portland, she meets U.S. Highway 26, which leads up to Nebraska. About four kilometers north of the I-205 is crossed by Interstate 84 and U.S. Highway 30. With the Glenn L. Jackson Memorial Bridge Interstate 205 crosses the Columbia River and reached the state of Washington.
