Intrathecal

Intrathecal (Latin intra " located within something," Greek theca " capsule ", " envelope ", abbreviated i th. ) Is a term used in medicine and is used primarily in connection with injections. Here, an injection into the space between the arachnoid and the pia mater, the subarachnoid space is meant (same as intravenously, iv = the vein).
