introception

Interoception (from the Latin inter " amidst " and recipere " record " ) the generic term for those components of the perception of living beings, the information is not about the outside world, but from its own body sections and their own body parts is to be detected. A distinction proprioception ( awareness of body position and movement in space) and the Viszerozeption (perception of body activities ).

The perception of the outside world is called Exterozeption.
