Inuinnaqtun ( occasionally but not officially also Inniunaqtun ) is a Native American language in Canada. There is no consensus on whether it is in Inuinnaqtun is only a dialect of Inuktitut or a separate language, as they are both similar in many ways. The governments of the territory of Nunavut and the Northwest Territories have Inuinnaqtun Inuktitut next recognized as an official language.

Inuinnaqtun is spoken in the western part of the Kitikmeot region, particularly in the settlements Cambridge Bay and Kugluktuk, but also in Gjoa Haven. Furthermore, it is applied as Kangiryuarmiutun ( language of the people of Kangiryuaq ) in the belonging to the Northwest Territories settlement Ulukhaktok. Unlike Inuktitut Inuinnaqtun is not written in syllabary, but with Latin letters.
