Invasions was originally the launched under the name The Lost Patrol solo project of former and current Refused The (International ) Noise Conspiracy - singer Dennis Lyxzén.
History
Unlike Lyxzéns other projects - a hardcore band and a '60s -influenced rock project - he hit with The Lost Patrol on rather calm tones; the partially reminiscent of Elvis Costello songs of the first album can best be assigned to the folk spectrum. 2004, the project was expanded to a full band, which was reflected from then on in the name was changed to The Lost Patrol band. The 2005 released album of the band was referred to as power-pop. Due to legal disputes with an American band of a similar name, the group named in the spring of 2008 and again since then is called invasions.
