Ion Țăranu

Ion Ţăranu ( born March 14, 1938 in Turnu Măgurele ) is a former Romanian wrestler. He won the bronze medal in Greco-Roman at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome. Style at middleweight.

Career

Ion Ţăranu began as a teenager with rings and developed into an outstanding wrestler in the Greco-Roman. Style. By 1959 he was Romanian middleweight champion for the first time.
