ipconfig

Ipconfig of the Microsoft Windows operating system command (from the network-enabled versions of Windows NT and Windows 2000), in command prompt mode (Start Menu: Run " cmd" ) is the hardware addresses of Internet Protocol (IP) devices used on the local network displays.

Use the ipconfig command, the address of the local IP network are retrieved. The addresses can be viewed at the network settings from the control panel. The indicator above the ipconfig command has the advantage that the data are clearly presented.

Ipconfig can provide the following general information:

  • IP address
  • Subnet mask ( subnet mask )
  • Default Gateway
