Ipecac Recordings

Ipecac Recordings is an American independent record label based in Orinda, California.

The label was founded by Mike Patton and Greg Werckman in Alameda, California in 1999. It was launched to publish borderline music. To make this alignment of the label clearly, and to have a first occupied popular figurehead, the first Fantômas album was released on Ipecac.

It was named after the label Ipecac, the so-called ipecac; as a subtitle, it leads the slogan Making people sick since 1999.
