Ira H. Morgan
Life
Ira Morgan - who was also known by the name of Joe Morgan - began his career as a cameraman at Gaumont News, an early newsreel. He later joined the Essanay film company, where he worked primarily with the director King Vidor. He did the camera work in films like the thriller The Vampire Bat and Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times, here together with Roland Totheroh. In 1956 he went into retirement.
