Iran Aseman Airlines is an Iranian regional airline based in Tehran.

History

After the Islamic revolution in 1979 Iran Aseman Airlines was established by the government-imposed merger of smaller companies. The First Gulf War prevented for the time being, a further development of the company that came to charter purposes only domestically used. From 1993 there was a new acquisition of aircraft such as the Fokker F -28, and ATR 42 and ATR 72 and four Boeing 727-200. 1999, the Company received its last ATR 72-500.

Objectives

Iran Aseman Airlines serves many destinations inside Iran, such as Bandar Abbas, Isfahan and Sanandaj and flies beyond several destinations in neighboring countries, including Bahrain, Damascus, Doha, Dubai, Dushanbe, Istanbul, Yerevan, Kabul, Kandahar and Najaf.
