The Iran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services (Persian دانشگاه علوم پزشکی و خدمات بهداشتی درمانی ایران, english Iran University of Medical Sciences, short IUMS ) was approximately 7000 students (SS 2008), one of the most renowned Iranian medical universities. At the time of the merger, the university was on the fourth place in the national rankings for academic research.

It lay south of the Hemat highway between Nuri and Shahid - Tschamran highway in Tehran.

Resolution

On 29 October 2010 the merger with Tehran University of Medical Sciences was founded in 1934 and Health Services (Persian دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران, english Tehran University of Medical Sciences, TUMS short ) announced and released the university the next day.

The staff were integrated to a few of the health services in the TUMS. The rest of the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences were allocated and health services.
