Iranian toman

The Toman (also Tomaund or Tomond ) was an ancient Persian gold coin, originally the ducats possible.

It was in 10 crane à 2 à 10 Panabat Shahi (4 Shahi corresponded to a Abassi ) divided and lawfully contained 3.376 g of fine gold.

As Toman are now called Iranian Rial in Iran according to the context ten, ten thousand or even ten million. The term Toman but does not appear on the banknotes or coins.
