The Gulf Stream is divided from America on coming into the streams Irmingerstrom, North Atlantic current and Norwegian electricity. This division is done on an ocean ridge between Scotland and Iceland. The Irmingerstrom transports relatively warm water with temperatures of up to 5 degrees Celsius in the regions to the north west of Iceland.
