Irmscher Iberia is a Spanish vehicle tuner and car manufacturer based in Pedrola. It was founded in 1968 by the rally driver, Günther Irmscher († 1996).

Tuning

Irmscher is on tuning of vehicles from General Motors, Opel in particular, specialized. This includes attachments, such as spoilers, side skirts and the like, as well as wheels and the interior design of high quality materials (wood, aluminum, etc. ), such as steering wheels, console trim, shift knob down to details such as the door pins or the pedals.

Since 2007 Irmscher also offers body tuning for Peugeot models. In addition to the tuning business, Irmscher involved in automobile racing in rally events and touring car championships.

The sporty commitment of the company Irmscher goes back to the year 1965. This year wins founders Günther Irmscher sen. on a NSU Prinz TT the former German Touring Car Championship. Only two years later, the company founder wins on the same vehicle model also at the Rally Tour d'Europe.

During this time the company established its reputation with exceptional race and rally versions of Opel vehicles series and created the still existing partnership for automobile company Opel.

Pilots such as the two-time world rally champion Walter Röhrl or Jochi Kleint, Achim Hot Bold and Sepp Haider could subscribe to rally cars from Irmscher in the winners' lists of numerous national and international rallies.

The headquarters Remshalden was closed due to the Opel crisis the end of May 2013. The company headquarters were moved on to the Spanish Pedrola.

Vehicle

Irmscher provides since 1993 establishes a replica of the Lotus Seven, marketed it under their own brand name. Initially carried the vehicle model name Seventy Seven. For driving a four-cylinder engine from Opel with either 115 hp or 150 hp makes.

Prototype

In March 2002, the company presented the model Inspiro at the Geneva Auto Salon. The roadster with V6 engine from the Opel Omega was a unique piece.
