Iron County (Utah)

Iron County is a county located in the state of Utah in the United States. 2010, the population of the County 46 163 people. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Parowan.

Geography

History

Iron County was founded in 1852. The original name was Little Salt Lake Valley, it was later renamed after the many iron mines that exist in the County in Iron County.
