Irving Knott " Irv " Baxter ( born March 25, 1876 in Utica, New York, † June 13, 1957 ) was an American athlete who at the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 in five different disciplines jump a total of two first and three second been. The launching of the University of Pennsylvania Baxter is the only two-time Olympic medalist in the high jump and pole vault in history.
