Isaac Tutumlu

Isaac Tutumlu Lopez ( born July 5, 1985 in Barcelona) is a Turkish- Spanish racing driver with Kurdish origin. He enters 2012 in the Porsche Supercup.

Career

Tutumlu began his motorsport career in 2002 in karting, where he was active until 2006. In 2007 he moved to touring car racing and was 30 of the Spanish MitJet Series. In 2008 he won the Catalunya Touring Car Championship. In 2009 he participated only in individual races. He was eighth in the Super GT Evaluation of the Spanish GT Championship. He also competed in the International GT Open and the German Porsche Carrera Cup and completed five guest appearances in the Porsche Supercup. After a one year break in 2011 Tutumlu took part once again in some racing series. Among other things, he started for Campos Racing to six races of the Superstars Series. An eleventh place was his best result. Like 2009, he graduated again as guest in the Porsche Supercup.

2012 moved Tutumlu first in the World Touring Car Championship ( WTCC) to Proteam Racing. After the fourth race weekend in which he did not participate despite message due to a total loss of the car, Tutumlu left the WTCC. According to his own statements, he had technical problems at each event. An eleventh place was his best result. Tutumlu then returned to the Porsche Supercup where he went for the second race weekend in the series.

Personal

Tutumlu has Kurdish ancestors. He is Spanish and starts mainly when Isaac Tutumlu with Spanish license. In the Porsche one-make cups he joined in 2009 as Isaac Tutumlu Lopez with Turkish license.
