Isabella of Cyprus

Isabella of Cyprus (* 1210, † 1264 ) was a daughter of King Hugh I of Cyprus and Alice de Champagne. She was a sister of King Henry I of Cyprus.

During the Lombard war Isabella had the castle Dieu d' Amour defended together with her sister Mary in 1232 against the imperial governor Richard Filangieri until they were freed after the Battle of Agridi.

She married 1233 Henry of Antioch, the brother of Prince Bohemond V of Antioch, with whom she had a son, the future King Hugo III. of Cyprus or Hugh I of Jerusalem. After the death of her sister- Plaisance of Antioch in 1261, she was regent for their son Hugh II of Cyprus.
