ISACA
The Information Systems Audit and Control Association ( ISACA ) is an association for IT, auditors, IT managers and security enthusiasts who want to exchange to the broad themes of IT security.
The umbrella organization is based in the U.S., supports the local chapters in over 140 countries and has more than 90,000 members. There are ongoing events in which IT security issues prepared for members and are given by specialists.
ISACA is a global association of a known test standard COBIT continually reworked by revenue from membership fees and personnel certification and thus pretends exam content for the subject areas of IT governance, Controlling, IT Security and IT Assurance.
Founded in 1969, ISACA sponsors international conferences, publishes the ISACA Journal (until 2008: Information Systems Control Journal ), develops international information system auditing and control standards and awarding the certifications
- Certified Information Systems Auditor ( CISA ), over 87,000 accounts,
- Certified Information Security Manager ( CISM ), over 16,000 accounts,
- Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT ( CGEIT ), over 4,600 accounts since 2007,
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control ( CRISC ) , more than 15,000 degrees since 2010.
ISACA has designed a model for testing and control of IT development: Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology ( CobiT ).
