Isaiah the Serb

Isaiah the Serb (Serbian Исаија Србин / Isaija Srbin; *; ? †) was a monk in the 15th century Serbian Orthodox monastery Matejce, which lies about 15 km away from Kumanovo in Macedonia today, lived. As a lawyer, he composed Byzantine hymns in Church Slavonic - altserbischen and Greek language. Some works were also bilingual.
