Ish Smith

Ishmael " Ish " Larry Smith ( born July 5, 1988 in Charlotte, North Carolina ) is an American professional basketball player who is currently with the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA under contract.

Career

Smith played for the Wake Forest University. There he could have in his Freshmansaison 8.7 points in 29 minutes per game. His second season was like before he got in the third about 10 minutes less playing time and could therefore achieve only 6.2 points per game. In his senior season he was however again about 15 minutes into the game more and was at 13.2 points per game become an important part of his team. After the season, he signed up for the NBA Draft in 2010, but was not reflected in the selection. On August 23, 2010 as a free agent, but he was picked up by the Houston Rockets, where he was able to record 2.6 points and 2.3 assists per game. During the season, he was still traded along with Shane Battier against Hasheem Thabeet, DeMarre Carroll and a future first round pick to the Memphis Grizzlies, where he got even less playing time in the 15 games he played in the jersey of the Grizzlies and therefore could hang up only 1.8 points per game.

After that season, he was obliged by the Golden State Warriors, where he played only six games, however, and shortly thereafter in the D -League to the farm team Los Angeles D- Fenders was sent. However, for the D- Fenders, he completed no game and shortly thereafter was taken by the Orlando Magic. He has played more games 20.

February 2013, Smith was transferred from the Magic as part of a trade to the Milwaukee Bucks. On August 29, 2013, was transferred along with Viacheslav Kravtsov in exchange for Caron Butler to the Phoenix Suns.
