Iskander Makhmudov

Iskander Kachramonowitsch Makhmudov (Russian Искандер Кахрамонович Махмудов; born December 5, 1963 in Bukhara) is a Russian businessman of Uzbek origin.

Life

Makhmudov is the owner and president of the mining company with headquarters in UMMC Verkhnyaya Pyshma. According to the U.S. company to Forbes magazine, he is one of the richest Russians. Makhmudov is married and has one child. He lives in Tashkent.

In Spain Makhmudov was suspected of collaboration with the Russian businessman Oleg Deripaska by the Spanish law enforcement agencies in 2011 to have committed money laundering.
