The Iceland horse - riders and breeders Association eV ( IPZV eV ) is the umbrella organization of all Iceland horse clubs in Germany. It was founded as a " German Pony Club " on 11 October 1958. Co-founder and former secretary was the journalist and writer Ursula Bruns. On November 4, 1968, the club in Iceland - horse breeders and owners association IPZV was renamed. The club newspaper from 1958 to 1971 was the " Pony Post". This magazine was the same precursor, and especially for many years part of the journal " Leisure in the saddle ." The country's Council represents the interests of local associations and national associations in IPZV Bundesverband and provides communication between the Bureau and the base of IPZV members. The Länderrat contributes to the determination of the Association's objectives and makes decisions on issues requiring approval of IPZV Federal Association.

Department Leisure and recreational sports

The resort leisure and recreational sports is to represent the recreational riders and providing athletes of Iceland horse riding. Department Sport

The sports department is responsible for the promotion and organization of Iceland equestrian sport.
