Ismail Ahmed Ismail

Ismail Ahmed Ismail (Arabic إسماعيل أحمد إسماعيل, DMG Ismā ʿ īl Aḥmad ʿ Ismā īl; * 10 September 1984 in Khartoum ) is a Sudanese middle distance runner who starts predominantly on the 800 - meter track.

At the World Athletics Championships 2003 in Paris / Saint- Denis, he left in the flow. The following year, he won at the African Championships bronze and finished eighth at the Olympic Games in Athens.

In 2006 he was African runners. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he won the silver medal in 1:44,70 minutes behind Wilfred Bungei and before Alfred Kirwa Yego (both Kenya).

Ismail Ahmed Ismail is 1,91 m tall and weighs 71 kg. He belongs to the people of the Fur.
