ISO Master

ISO Master is a free application for Linux and BSD for creating and editing of ISO -9660 files ( ISO images ).

Availability

It is widely used for Unix -like operating systems available as free software in source code under the terms of the GNU General Public License ( GPL). The proprietary version of Windows that has been licensed as a time- limited shareware commercially is no longer available. For Windows, however, is now quite a created from the open source package in the Cygwin distribution available. Under Cygwin and in popular Linux distributions Debian, Ubuntu and Fedora can be installed directly from the standard repositories.

History

The first version was released a working beta version in August 2006. Since version 1.3 in December 2007, an official, proprietary version of Windows is released. On 26 August 2008 is a freeware version of Cygwin was released to third parties, which was replaced 23 May 2012 by an official Cygwin package.
