Issey Nakajima-Farran
Issey Nakajima - Farran Morgan ( born May 16, 1984 in Calgary, Alberta ) is a Canadian soccer player.
Club career
Nakajima - Farran was born in 1984 in Calgary, Canada and moved to Japan with his family in 1987. There he started to play football game that he still pursued even after moving to London in 1994. At the age of 16, he decided without his parents to go back to Japan to pursue a career as a professional footballer. From 2000 to 2002 he played in the youth team of Tokyo Verdy before he received a professional contract with Albirex Niigata 2003. In his first season in the professional sector Nakajima - Farran had no use, and then took advantage of the opportunity, from 2004 in Singapore in the S. League for the club's junior team Albirex Niigata ( Singapore) to play. After twelve goals in his first season, the offensive player in his second year increased his goal tally to 14 goals and was ligated internally named the best young player of the year 2005. He also represented the Singapore Football Association in a game against the U -23 Japan, in which he scored one goal in a 2-2 draw and the second prepared. Despite his achievements in Singapore its Japanese original club still wanted to leave him in the youth team in Singapore, whereupon Nakajima - Farran went back to Europe.
After tryouts at the English club Portsmouth FC and Reading FC he finally signed in early 2006 a contract with the Danish second division club Vejle BK, the local coach Kim Poulsen had previously worked as a trainer in the S. League. At the end of the season 2006/ 07 he went on to Vejle in the highest Danish league. After re- direct descent he left Vejle and remained by his transfer to FC Nordsjælland still in the first division. Once in his second season were at Nordsjælland inserts increasingly rare and also for the 2009/10 season is little prospect consisted of improvement, he moved the end of August just before the transfer deadline in the second Danish league for AC Horsens, who also his brother Paris Nakajima - Farran undertook. Shortly after the start of the 2011/12 season, he broke up his contract with Horsens and changed the end of August 2011 for the reigning Australian champions Brisbane Roar.
National
Nakajima - Farran had initially made hopes for a consideration by the Japanese Association and was eligible to play due to his CV for the British football associations and Singapore, finally decided but for a career in the Canadian National Team. His international debut he gave on 15 November 2006 in a 0-1 defeat in a friendly against Hungary. In June 2007, he was part of the Canadian contingent at the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the United States and came to three sub- missions, as the Canadian team advanced all the way to the semifinals. As a result, he was a regular for the national team, as well as the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2009, when he brought it but only for a short stint in reaching the quarter-finals.
