Isuzu (Anadolu)

Anadolu Isuzu Automotive Industry & Trading A.Ş. is the Turkish division of the Japanese Isuzu engine. This is represented in addition to selling its own production of trucks, buses and pickups for European and Eurasian market. A part of the company is in a joint venture with Anadolu Holding A.Ş. and Itochu Shoji K. K. involved, which in the commercial register as Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is listed. The company's headquarters is located in Kartal, Istanbul. Since July 1984 vehicles are manufactured by Isuzu here.

Isuzu in Turkey

In another work, the Japanese manufacturer had made mount for the local market since 1965 light trucks and motorcycles. The production was maintained there until 1986. 1983, however, agreed with Isuzu Motors of the Czechoslovak Škoda Auto as a license agreement and had now also mount other vehicles. The work then was the Škoda Auto. Over the years, Isuzu became then the majority of shares and renamed the company. On 2 July 1999 it was decided with other companies signed an agreement to build a joint venture plant with headquarters in Sekerpinar in Gebze. In August 1999, then production could be taken there. Currently, there are 36 for Isuzu dealers, 120 service stations and repair shops within the Turkish Republic. The vehicles produced are exported from Istanbul in 20 different countries. The vehicles from production of Anadolu Isuzu are to be identified with the manufacturer code NNA at the beginning of the vehicle identification number. Since 2008, a joint effort in Kozyatağı also operated by Anadolu Isuzu and Hyundai Assan.
