Content
The bakery owner Jane has three grown children and is divorced for quite some time. Her ex-husband Jake married in the meantime the younger Agness and maintains a friendly relationship with Jane, until after college graduation of their son come up old feelings again and they begin an affair, although also between Jane and her architect Adam just a new relationship develops. Awards
Although Meryl Streep has been nominated for Julie & Julia for a Golden Globe, she was also nominated for If It's Complicated and thus has two nominations in the same category. However, they won the award for Julie & Julia. The film itself also scored a nomination for Best Picture ( Comedy / Musical) and Nancy Meyers could make the race for another Golden Globe nomination in the category of Best Score.
