It Ain't Safe No More...

It Is not Safe No More is the sixth album by American rapper Busta Rhymes. It was released on 26 November 2002 on J Records.

Production

Much of the production of It Is not Safe No More was acquired by J Dilla and Rick Rock. Dilla produced the pieces It Is not Safe No More ... What Up and Turn Me Up Some. Rick Rock controlled the Beats to Make It Clap, I Know What You Want, The Struggle Will Be Lost and Make It Clap Remix at. DJ Scratch, who had already collaborated with Busta Rhymes for his first album, The Coming, produced the title What Do You Do When You're Branded. The Neptunes were responsible for the production of Call the Ambulance. Other contributions come from megahertz (We Goin 'to Do It to Ya ), Mario Winans ( Take It Off Part 2), Tetamus ( Taste It ) Wild Style ( Hey Ladies ), Denaun ( Riot ), Mr. Fingaz ( Hop ) Swizz Beatz ( Together), Ricc Rude ( Struttin ' Like a GOD) and Tru Master ( Till It 's Gone ). The final mastering of the album was done by Chris Gehringer.

Charts

It Is not Safe No More could reach position 43 of the U.S. album charts. Thus, it is the first album by the rapper, which is not placed among the top 20 on the Billboard 200. Overall Rhymes sixth album 34 weeks was in the charts. In Germany the phonogram debuted at rank 88 of the charts. It remained for five weeks in the charts and was able to demonstrate the high position of number 82. Other international chart positions reached It Is not Safe No More in France ( rank 50 ), the Netherlands (Rank 61 ) and Switzerland (Rank 70).

Criticism

Entertainment Weekly took a more negative rating for the album. It Is not Safe No More is a mediocre album full of lackluster Arrangements (" Rhymes ' second J Records release is a tragically mediocre album full of lackluster arrangements" ). The guest posts about Mariah Carey or the Neptunes were uninteresting. Of the 18 tracks on the album are from the perspective of the side only four songs well.

John Bush appreciated the album for the All Music Guide positive. It Is not Safe No More follow stylistically designated by Bush as " classic" albums When Disaster Strikes and Genesis. On Call the Ambulance Rhymes show through his lecture, which is described as "hardcore" and funny, what he could best.
