Ita Ever

Ilse " Ita " Ever ( born April 1, 1931 in Paid ) is an Estonian actress.

And life stage

Ita Ever was born as the only child of a middle-class family. The father was Alfred Este, the mother Nadezhda Russian. One year after the birth the family moved to Võru, three years later in the Estonian capital Tallinn. There Ita Ever attended from 1939 to 1950 the school. From 1950 to 1953 Ita Ever studied at the State Institute of Theatre Arts (Russian Государственный институт театрального искусства ) in the Soviet capital of Moscow. From 1953 Ever worked as an actress at Tallinna Draamateater. Quickly advanced to become one of the most popular Estonian character actresses. Her success was in 1978 when numerous Estonian and Russian cinema and television film productions in which Ita Ever starred. It stands on the stage today.

Awards

Ita Ever has received numerous awards for her acting performances. Among other things, she was awarded in 1966 the title of Honoured Artist of the Estonian SSR and in 1973 the People's Artist Award of the Estonian SSR. 1985 she was awarded the State Prize of the Estonian SSR. 2001 she was awarded the Foundation Estonian folk culture ( Eesti Rahvuskultuuri Fund) the price of their life's work.

Private life

1953 married Ita Ever the actor Eino Baskin ( born 1929 ), who was also employed at Tallinna Draamateater. A year later, her son, who later became an actor and director Roman Baskin was (born 1954 ) was born. The marriage was two years later in the fractures and in 1959 divorced. From 1960 Ita Ever lived together with the Estonian actor and director Gunnar Kilgas ( 1926-2005 ).
