Itahari

Itahari ( Nepali: इटहरी, Itahari ) is a city in Nepal in Sunsari district, in the development of the region belongs to the Eastern Management Zone Koshi. In a 2011 census, 74 501 inhabitants were counted.

The city lies at the crossroads of major trade routes in eastern Nepal, 230 km southeast of the capital Kathmandu. The boundaries of the city are not far removed from those of the neighboring Dharan.
