Italian Agency of Revenue

The Agenzia delle Entrate in South Tyrol officially agency revenue, is the Italian tax authorities. It is under the Department of Finance ( Dipartimento delle Finanze ) of Economic Affairs and Finance in Rome.

Tasks

The Agenzia delle Entrate an administratively autonomous institution under the authority of the Italian Ministry of Finance, is responsible for the assessment and collection of taxes. The Agency is a fiscal administrative authority in the first place, but will also have enforcement duties ( tax police ). In the latter area there is a close collaboration with the Guardia di Finanza, the Italian tax police.

On 1 December 2012, the Agenzia delle Entrate took the train from savings and rationalization measures which also reports to the Ministry of Finance Agenzia del Territorio belonging and thus the responsibility for cadastral surveying and land register. In these areas, the Agency is active, either directly or monitored and supported in the context of decentralization, local authorities, which take on these tasks themselves.

Organization

The Head of the Agency are subject to several corporate departments, among other things, responsible for internal audits, personnel and legal issues, organizational issues, etc.. The operating area is organized according to the Italian regions: in 19 out of 20 regions, each is a regional office, in the autonomous region of Trentino -Alto Adige there is one principal in Trento and Bolzano. History

The Agenzia delle Entrate ( neudeutsch about " Revenue Agency ", in reference to the Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America ) was created in 2000 in the train of an overall reform of the Italian government bureaucracy. After merging the Ministry of Finance with the budget and the Treasury to the new Ministry of Economy and Finance, it was necessary to create different administratively autonomous authorities within the portfolio of the new Ministry. These new " agencies " Agenzia delle Entrate factors in addition to, inter alia, the Customs Agency, the Italian customs administration authority.
