Italian general election, 2001

The parliamentary elections in Italy in 2001 took place on 13 May 2001. The ruling since 1996 the center-left coalition was not re-elected, the Alliance The Olive under Francesco Rutelli defeated by center-right coalition of Silvio Berlusconi.
