The Italian Greyhound is a recognized by the FCI Italian breed (FCI Group 10, Section 3, Standard No. 200).

Origin and History

It is an old Italian race, which could originate as many Mediterranean sighthounds of Egyptian Greyhound Tesem. He came from Egypt to Greece and from there to Rome and was the favorite dog of the patricians. In the 14th century, this chime is spread throughout Europe and found in all the courts of Europe aficionados, among others, Frederick II, King of Prussia. Description

The Italian Greyhound has in refined form all the features of the great greyhound. At a size of 32 cm to 38 cm, it is difficult to 5 kg.
