Italy national basketball team
The Italian national basketball team is the selection of players of the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro ). She takes on Italy in international competitions countries and entered to date (September 2013) to eight times at World Basketball Championship, eleven times at the Olympics and 34 times at European Championships.
Her achievements were two Olympic silver medals in Moscow in 1980 and in Athens in 2004, and two European titles in 1983 and 1999 respectively earned in France. Both EM- finals could decide the team against Spain for themselves.
