Iturbe (Argentina)

Iturbe ( Hipólito Yrigoyen and also Negra Muerta ) is called a village with 1285 inhabitants in the province of Jujuy in Argentina. It lies at an altitude of 3223 meters in the department of Humahuaca, north of the Quebrada de Humahuaca at a distance of 161 km from the provincial capital San Salvador de Jujuy.

Iturbe has a railway station, which is no longer in operation. Formerly wrong there the railroad Ferrocarril General Manuel Belgrano.
