Itzehoe-Land

In office Itzehoe country is an office in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig- Holstein. The administrative headquarters is located in the city of Itzehoe that do not belong to the office itself.

The Office is located north of Itzehoe and is bordered to the north by the Office Schenefeld, on the west by the Office Wilstermarsch, in the south on the town Itzehoe and on the east by the Office Kellinghusenstraße.

Official members of communities

History

In office Itzehoe country was formed from the communities of the Office Heiligenstedten and some communities of the Office Hohenaspe 1970. The remaining municipalities of the Office Hohenaspe were attached to the Office Schenefeld.

As part of the Schleswig -Holstein administrative structure reform became effective on 1st January 2008, the municipalities Lohbarbek, Schlotfeld, Silzen and Winseldorf out of the former Office Hohenlockstedt the Office Itzehoe country at.

Coat of arms

The beech tree in the coat of arms of the Office Itzehoe country, typical tree of the Hohe Geest, represented with their sixteen leaves office as the administrative center of the official communities belonging to the same number.
