Itzhak Shum

Itzhak Shum (Hebrew: יצחק שום ) ( born September 1, 1948 in Chişinău ) is a former Israeli footballer. Shum is currently working as a football manager and coach.

He played for the Israeli national football team and participated in the World Cup with this 1970. In the 2003/2004 season Shum was the coach of the Greek division club Panathinaikos Athens and led the team to the championship. On 4 October 2004 Shum resigned this office. In 2005, he served as head coach of the first division club Alania Vladikavkaz in Russia.

Since 2007, Shum trained the winners of the Israeli Cup 2007, Beitar Jerusalem.
