IUCAB

IUCAB ( Internationally United Commercial Agents and Brokers ) is the governing body of the international representation of the national sales representatives and commercial brokerage organizations. It was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The IUCAB belong to 18 organizations from Europe and North America. President is Crito Phitidis, Cyprus.

Task IUCAB

The association represents the professional interests at the international level, such as to the institutions and agencies of the European Union, ICC, UNIDROIT and maintains the relationships between international trade and professional organizations, and other international political and public institutions. The IUCB encourages qualified international sales contract. She is committed to ensuring that the international markets are also future qualified trade representatives. Target

The aim of the association is to preserve the freedom and the economic development of international trade, to protect and promote to strengthen the common interests of the commercial agents and brokers and the position of the trade agents and brokers as independent contractors in all countries.

History

Already in the years between the First and the Second World War created contacts between several national associations of independent sales representatives with the aim of international cooperation for the benefit of its members. These contacts were resumed after the end of World War II and the Internationally United Commercial Agents and Brokers ( IUCAB ) was founded on 21 September 1953. At that time, the IUCAB of seven national associations. In the following years were more national associations in Europe and North America in the IUCAB.
