Ivan Tregubov

Ivan Sergeyevich Tregubow (Russian: Иван Сергеевич Трегубов; born January 19, 1930 in Komsomolsk-on- Amur, † December 22, 1992 in Moscow) was a Russian ice hockey player.

Career

During his career, the defender played at HK CSKA Moscow and Chimik Woskressensk. Overall, he scored 57 goals in 221 games in the Soviet league. He was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On 10 February 1954 he was in a game against the GDR for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with the gold medal at the Olympic Winter Games 1956. For the national team, he scored 29 goals in 100 internationals. On March 5, 1961 he played his last international match. In 1956 he was inducted into the "Russian Hockey Hall of Fame".
