Ivan Triesault
Ivan Triesault (Estonian Juhan Treisalt; * July 14, 1898 in Reval, Russian Empire, Governorate of Estonia, † January 3, 1980 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor of Russian origin.
His first stage appearances had Triesault at the age of 14 at the German Theatre in Tallinn. When he was 18 years old, he moved to the United States and began a dance and drama training. He worked briefly on Broadway before he turned to the film medium.
Triesault played in many films, such as The Mummy's Ghost, Dr. Wassells escape from Java, The Hitler Gang, Notorious, The case of Cicero, It Happened in Athens, Journey to the Center of the Earth and The Wild Wild West. Overall, he has appeared in more than 120 productions, most recently in 1969.
He died on 3 January 1980 at the age of 81 of heart failure.
